There is excellent shopping at Newton Abbott (3 miles). Windsurfing and waterskiing on the River Teign, walking and riding on Dartmoor and nostalgic rides on the Dart Valley steam train are all nearby whilst the Eden Project is within 1½ hour's drive. There are four good pubs serving food within 2 miles. Nearest shop ½ mile.
