This delightful cottage, the middle one of three, has been renovated to the highest standards, using environmentally friendly materials, and is set just a short stroll from the River Chet where lovely riverside walks can be enjoyed. The market town of Bungay and the medieval city of Norwich are both 10 miles. The Suffolk coast, with sandy beaches at Southwold and Walberswick is just 15 miles. Boat hire locally. Shops and inns ½ mile.

Accommodation

Beamed throughout. Farmhouse style kitchen with pamment floor. Dining area, step down to sitting room with wood burning stove in inglenook. Open tread stairs to first floor: Pretty double bedroom and single bedroom both with antique country furniture. Bathroom/W.C. (shower attachment).

Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.

The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
