Enjoy village life in a coastal location in this extremely pretty semi detached stone cottage, with lovely furnishings and cosy fireside. It is within easy walking distance (200 yards) of a pub, restaurant and shop/P.O. in Tregony, the gateway to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. Only 15 minutes drive away is Nare Head's superb sandy beach. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 10 miles away and the Eden Project is within 20 minutes drive. Truro 8 miles. An excellent base for touring this western tip of England, with superb coastal walks.

Accommodation

Beamed sitting room with open fire. Beamed farmhouse style kitchen with dining area. Utility room. Cloakroom/W.C. First floor: Double bedroom. Two twin bedded rooms. Bathroom/W.C. (power shower over bath).

The Cornish Riviera takes in some of South Cornwall’s most popular resorts and many of our holiday cottages in South Cornwall are located nearby. Picturesque Fowey is a haven for sailors, while the Roseland Peninsula is a noted beauty spot. Mevagissey, St. Mawes and St. Just are all well worth a visit. Not to be missed is the Eden Project, a fascinating recreation of different biospheres, featuring a wide variety of exotic plantlife. You should also make time for a trip to atmospheric St. Michael’s Mount and on to Land’s End, the most westerly point in England. The county town of Truro has a lovely cathedral and some excellent shopping opportunities, while Penzance is a bustling resort, famed for its warm weather and sub-tropical plants.

And do make sure you sample the pasties, saffron cake and clotted cream – all local delicacies, – during your cottage holiday.
