About Hall Farm Cottages

These enchanting, beautifully furnished cottages are set amidst lovely aromatic gardens in a really peaceful location. Hornsea - 4 miles, offers 'blue flag' sandy beach, designer shopping outlet, indoor pool and Hornsea Mere for boating. Hull - 14 miles offers 'The Deep' undersea experience, and across the river in Grimsby lies a fisheries museum. The great houses of Sledmere and Castle Howard are easily accessible along with the Yorkshire Wolds. Attractions in the area include bird watching, golf, riding, fishing, sailing, canoeing and jet skiing. Inn 1¼ miles and shop 2 miles.

If you like an element of ruggedness to your scenery, then the North York Moors will suit you perfectly. We have a wide choice of holiday cottages in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast from which to explore this wildly beautiful countryside. The major draw here is the North York Moors National Park, a wide expanse of heather covered moors and lush green valleys. The area around Goathland (featured in TV’s Heartbeat) is a particular favourite with walkers. Make sure you take a ride on the scenic North York Moors Railway during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast. The coastline here is one of dramatic cliffs and sandy bays. Scarborough is the largest resort here and still attracts a large number of visitors in search of some seaside fun. Further north is unspoilt Robin Hood’s Bay, with its steep cobbled streets and the old town of Whitby. The famous Abbey here featured in Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel. Inland, the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole is well worth visiting, as is the old market town of Pickering, gateway to the North York Moors.
