Popular for crab fishing and famed for their watersports activities, the villages are connected by a causeway at low tide. This gorgeous stretch of coastline boasts splendid sandy beaches, the nearest within 1 mile (down steep steps), and glorious walking can be enjoyed on the coastal path and (only 8 miles inland) on beautiful Dartmoor. Golf, riding and a superb swimming and leisure centre are all within a ½ hour drive. Historic Plymouth is 12 miles away and the amazing Eden Project is under an hour's drive.
