In a tranquil scenic location just 3 miles from Westward Ho!'s sandy beach and the attractive old port of Bideford (with ferry to Lundy Island), these 17th century cob and stone barns have been stylishly converted to a superb standard. There are footpaths from the door and a village shop and choice of inns within 2 miles. Clovelly, Big Sheep, England's oldest golf links, an indoor pool, good sports facilities, Rosemoor RHS Gardens, Appledore's art galleries, and Atlantic Village are all within a 15 minute drive. Cornish border 12 miles. Easy access to Exmoor and Dartmoor. Eden Project 1½ hours drive.

Walk the Coastal Path, and you’ll be treated to stunning views of high cliffs dropping straight to the sea, or to small coves far below. Beach lovers will also enjoy a cottage holiday here in North Devon. Resorts like Woolacombe and Saunton offer long stretches of sandy beach that are ideal for surfing and sailboarding. Clovelly is a real beauty spot, and very picturesque, while Appledore is a picture-perfect fishing village. Photographers take note. Ilfracombe is a more traditional seaside resort, but is not overly-commercialised, while the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth have an atmosphere all their own.
