Topple Cottage
Nestling amidst Polean's 200 beautiful acres, much of which is a wildlife haven, these spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated cottages are set around a pretty courtyard. Just one of many signposted walks over the farm leads along the River Pol, through 50 acres of newly planted woodland, offering the chance to spot otters, badgers, foxes and deer and there are hens and ducks to feed. A delightful 2 mile walk down green lanes leads to the quaint little fishing village of Polperro and Pelynt's two good food shops, village pub and restaurant are a 1½ mile green lane walk. Charming Looe (4 miles) boasts sandy beaches, good shops, galleries and restaurants and a bustling quayside. Sailing, fishing, surfing and golf are all easily accessible as are the Eden Project and National Trust gardens and houses, whilst for children, Dobwalls Adventure Park is nearby. Perfect for a wonderful Cornish holiday, these excellent cottages make an ideal base for exploring the region's myriad delights.
