Conwy's shops, restaurants, inns, magnificent castle, sandy beach and harbour lie just 3 miles away and the surrounding landscape offers a wealth of exhilarating outdoor pursuits including superb walking in spectacular scenery as well as excellent climbing, cycling, fishing and bird watching. Scenic journeys on Snowdon's famous mountain railway and Trefiw's woollen mill and Roman spa are easily accessible, and Llandudno's lively attractions and golden sands are about 9 miles, as are the glorious waterfalls at Betwys-y-Coed.
