Sand Dune Cottage
Just a short stroll walk away from Banna Strand, a beautiful beach with long golden sands and rolling dunes this friendly, family run holiday hamlet is centred around a small hotel which acts as a focal point for those who wish to enjoy family entertainment in the lounge bar or use the children's disco. Facilities include a leisure centre complete with pool, gym, steam room, sauna, Children's Adventure World, a mini market, chinese restaurant and take away.
It is a good base to explore Kerry and at Tralee (9 miles) there is plenty to see and do. There is a steam railway, a replica windmill and sailing ship at Blennerville, an interesting folk museum with the National Folk Theatre of Ireland during the summer and an aqua dome. There are regular horse and greyhound meetings and the annual Rose of Tralee festival in August.
