Furnished and equipped to very high standards, with open fires in its spacious and elegant rooms, Cottingburn offers a very comfortable, cosy and truly relaxing holiday retreat in an idyllic setting.
The many and varied attractions of this part of England are within easy reach – beautiful rolling countryside, pretty villages, Northumbria's fine castles, the Heritage coastline at Bamburgh, Hadrian's Wall, trips to the Farne Islands, and Newcastle's Metro Centre and Blinking Eye Bridge – even the borders of Scotland are not far away. Locally, visitors can enjoy riding, fishing and golf, and Morpeth (1 mile) offers an indoor swimming pool, sports centre and cycle hire as well as a good selection of shops, inns and restaurants.
