Against the backdrop of its one acre of wooded hillside and garden, this detached, 18th century farmhouse with many original features in its cosy, beamed interior. Set in the heart of the pretty village of Eskdale Green, it enjoys walks directly to Scafell and Wasdale. The famous Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and Birkerfell, the western lakes, Muncaster Castle and Hardknot Pass and Fort all lie close by. Two pubs serving food are just a ¼ mile stroll and the shop next door will provide provisions in advance if required.Four bedrooms. Two sitting rooms, one with open fire. Dining room with wood burning stove. Spacious kitchen with breakfast area. First floor: Double bedroom with ensuite shower room/W.C. Two twin bedded rooms. Single bedroom with cabin bed. Bathroom/W.C. (shower over bath).
