deally located for enjoying both the pleasures of north Cornwall's fine sandy beaches and the quaint fishing harbours and glorious gardens of the south coast, this spacious and attractively furnished property makes an excellent holiday base for larger groups. Set on the outskirts of Bodmin, with its bustling narrow streets and views across to the Gilbert Memorial, it sits just a short drive from Lanhydrock, a magnificent Victorian country house in the care of the National Trust, and the fine Georgian mansion of Pencarrow House, as well as Jamaica Inn (of Daphne du Maurier fame) and the amazing Eden Project. From the town, a pleasant cycle ride or walk can be enjoyed along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond to Padstow, whilst the Bodmin and Wenford steam railway provides a more leisurely mode of travel. Charlestown's famously picturesque harbour and shipwreck centre are about 12 miles distant with Fowey and Mevagissey lying a little further up the coast. A selection of pubs and shops are within ½ mile.
